Day 1

Guwahati – Shillong

  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport, where our Tour Manager will warmly welcome you.
  • Proceed to Shillong, the picturesque capital of Meghalaya, fondly known as the "Scotland of the East" for its rolling hills, pleasant climate, and scenic beauty.
  • Enjoy the beautiful drive through lush green landscapes before checking into your hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2

Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

  • After breakfast, proceed towards Mawlynnong, proudly known as the Cleanest Village in Asia.
  • Explore the famous Living Root Bridge, marvel at the Sky Walk, and witness the fascinating Natural Balancing Rock, a unique natural wonder that has stood for centuries.
  • Later, continue to Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where boats appear to float on glass.
  • Enjoy a memorable boat ride amidst breathtaking surroundings before returning to Shillong.
  • The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to relax or explore the local markets.

Day 3

Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

  • After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth, renowned for its spectacular waterfalls, limestone caves, and lush landscapes.
  • Visit the magnificent Seven Sisters Falls, admire the breathtaking beauty of Nohkalikai Falls, one of India's tallest plunge waterfalls, and explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave, known for its impressive limestone formations.
  • Later, enjoy panoramic valley views from Eco Park. While returning to Shillong, stop at the beautiful Elephant Falls, one of Meghalaya's most popular natural attractions.

Day 4

Shillong – Kaziranga

  • After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
  • En route, visit the famous Maha Mrityunjay Temple, home to one of the world's tallest Shiva Lingas and an important pilgrimage destination dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Continue your scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Assam before arriving at Kaziranga.
  • The park is globally renowned for its population of the endangered One-Horned Rhinoceros and is also home to tigers, elephants, swamp deer, wild buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Day 5

Kaziranga National Park

  • Early in the morning, experience the thrill of a Jeep Safari (subject to operation) through the grasslands and forests of Kaziranga National Park.
  • Keep your camera ready as you may spot the famous Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, elephants, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and a variety of exotic birds in their natural habitat.
  • Later, explore the park's biodiversity and learn about its successful wildlife conservation efforts. In the evening, enjoy an entertaining Traditional Bihu Dance performance showcasing Assam's vibrant culture and folk traditions.

Day 6

Kaziranga – Dirang

  • After breakfast, proceed towards Dirang, a charming Himalayan town known for its scenic valleys, monasteries, hot water springs, and pleasant mountain climate.
  • Upon arrival, explore the beautiful Dirang Valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush greenery.
  • Later, visit the famous Kiwi Garden, where you can learn about kiwi cultivation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
  • Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of this beautiful hill town.

Day 7

Dirang – Tawang

  • After breakfast, continue your memorable journey to Tawang, one of Arunachal Pradesh's most beautiful destinations, known for its breathtaking landscapes, Buddhist heritage, and snow-covered mountains.
  • En route, cross the spectacular Sela Pass, situated at an altitude of approximately 14,000 feet, offering mesmerizing views of snow-clad peaks and alpine lakes.
  • Stop at the historic Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the bravery of Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who displayed extraordinary courage during the 1962 Indo-China War.
  • Arrive in Tawang by evening and check into your hotel.

Day 8

Tawang – Bumla Pass Excursion

  • After breakfast, set out for an unforgettable excursion to Pankang Teng Tso (Madhuri Lake), a breathtaking high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
  • Formed after an earthquake, the lake is famous for its crystal-clear waters and was featured in the Bollywood movie Koyla.
  • Later, proceed to the iconic Bumla Pass, located near the Indo-China border, offering spectacular mountain views and immense historical significance.
  • In the evening, visit the Tawang War Memorial, built in honour of the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1962 Indo-China War.
  • Conclude the day by witnessing the inspiring Light & Sound Show, which beautifully narrates the stories of courage and patriotism.

Day 9

Tawang – Bomdila

  • En route, if time permits, visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and the second-largest in the world.
  • This iconic monastery is renowned for its rich Buddhist heritage, ancient scriptures, beautiful prayer halls, and panoramic mountain views.
  • Continue your scenic drive to Bomdila and check into your hotel upon arrival.

Day 10

Bomdila – Guwahati

Guwahati – Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your final day with a visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas in India, where devotees seek blessings of Goddess Kamakhya through Mukh Darshan.
  • If time permits, also visit the beautiful Umananda Temple, situated on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River.
  • Later, enjoy a relaxing Sunset Cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River, offering stunning views of Guwahati's skyline and the surrounding hills.
  • Afterwards, proceed to Guwahati Airport for your return journey. Bid farewell to your fellow travellers and return home carrying unforgettable memories of the breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, wildlife, and spiritual experiences of the Three Sisters of Northeast India.

Important Information & Tour Guidelines
  • Guests opting for Joining & Leaving arrangements are required to book their own flight/train tickets and arrange airport/railway station transfers unless otherwise specified. 
  • To avail the group airport transfer, the following conditions must be met 
  • Your arrival airport must be the same as the group's scheduled arrival airport. 
  • Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time. 
  • On the last day, your departure flight must be from the same airport and scheduled after the group's departure flight. 
  • Standard hotel check-in time is generally 2:00 PM (or as per the hotel's policy) and check-out time is 10:00 AM / 11:00 AM (or as per the hotel's policy). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may attract additional charges. 
  • If your flight arrives before the standard check-in time, we may arrange sightseeing or other activities, wherever operationally feasible, to help you make the most of your day. 
  • In case of flight rescheduling resulting in an earlier arrival or later departure, additional meals or refreshments, if required as per the revised schedule, will be arranged at the company's discretion. 
  • Extra Adult/Child with Mattress bookings will be provided with one mattress per room, as applicable. 
  • Meals are served only as mentioned in the tour itinerary. Meals during air travel, train journeys, bus travel, transit halts, or personal stopovers are not included unless specifically mentioned. 
  • Seating in the tour vehicle is allotted on a first come, first served basis at the beginning of the tour and will remain the same throughout the journey unless otherwise decided by the Tour Manager for operational reasons. 
  • Due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local circumstances, traffic, government regulations, or other unavoidable reasons, the sightseeing sequence, itinerary, or travel route may be changed or reversed. However, every effort will be made to provide all the inclusions or suitable alternatives. 
  • All our departures are planned to operate as scheduled. However, if the minimum required number of participants is not achieved, the company reserves the right to merge the departure with another date or offer suitable alternatives. Guests may also opt for a customised package, where certain group services such as the Tour Manager, group activities, games, meals, or entry tickets may vary or may not be available. 
  • Air tickets issued under promotional, special, or non-refundable fares are subject to the respective airline's fare rules and may be partially or fully non-refundable. 
  • Guests are advised to keep their passports, travel documents, valuables, cash, and personal belongings safe throughout the tour. Waari shall not be responsible for any loss due to negligence or unforeseen circumstances.
