Day 1

Cochin – Athirappilly

Athirappilly

  • Arrive at Cochin airport/railway station, where you will be greeted.
  • Proceed to Athirappilly and on arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • Visit the Athirappilly Waterfall that originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges.
  • It is the largest waterfall in Kerala, which stands tall at 80 feet.

Day 2

Athirappilly – Munnar

Munnar

  • After breakfast, proceed to Munnar.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel in Munnar.
  • Spend the day at leisure and enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful Hill Station.

Day 3

Munnar Sightseeing

  • After breakfast visit the Eravikulam National Park to spot the Nilgiri Tahr, a rare species of goat that is only found here.
  • Learn the history and process of making tea at one of many Tea Museums in Munnar.
  • See more than a 100 species of flora at the Rose Garden.
  • Post lunch visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam.
  • Evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 4

Munnar – Thekkady

  • After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady.
  • En route, visit the Spice Garden, where you get to see how various spices are grown.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • In the evening, enjoy the classical dance of Kerala - Kathakali in the form of a story-play performed by the artists in colourful makeup.
  • The evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 5

Thekkady – Alleppey

  • Early morning proceed to boating / jungle safari (depends upon availability) in the Periyar National Park, which is known for its diverse flora, fauna and rare species of animals and exotic plants that are only found here.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey – the Venice of the East.
  • Check in to your houseboat – a moving paradise in the backwaters of Vembanad Lake.
  • The scenic sites of lush paddy fields, coconut trees swaying and local villages on the sides make it the most unique and authentic Keralan experience.

Day 6

Alleppey – Vaikom – Cochin

  • Proceed to Cochin airport / railway station. Tour concludes.
