Day 1

Cochin – Athirappilly

Athirappilly

  • Arrive at Cochin airport/railway station, where you will be greeted.
  • Proceed to Athirappilly and on arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • Visit the Athirappilly Waterfall that originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges.
  • It is the largest waterfall in Kerala, which stands tall at 80 feet.

Day 2

Athirappilly – Munnar

Munnar

  • After breakfast, proceed to Munnar.
  • On arrival, check in to the hotel in Munnar.
  • Spend the day at leisure and enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful Hill Station.

Day 3

Munnar Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, visit the Eravikulam National Park to spot the Nilgiri Tahr, a rare species of goat that is only found here.
  • Learn the history and process of making tea at one of the many Tea Museums in Munnar.
  • See more than 100 species of flora at the Rose Garden.
  • Post lunch visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam.
  • Evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 4

Munnar – Thekkady

  • After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady.
  • En route, visit the Spice Garden, where you get to see how various spices are grown.

  • In the evening, enjoy the classical dance of Kerala - Kathakali in the form of a story-play performed by the artists in colourful makeup.
  • Evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 5

Thekkady – Alleppey

  • Early morning proceeds to boating/jungle safari (depends upon availability) in the Periyar National Park, which is known for its diverse flora, fauna and rare species of animals and exotic plants that are only found here.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey - the Venice of east.
  • Enjoy a boat ride in the Alleppey Backwaters.
  • The scenic sites of lush paddy fields, coconut trees swaying, and local villages on the sides make it the most unique and authentic Kerala experience.

Day 6

Houseboat at Alleppey

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on the Houseboat.
  • Staying 21 hours in the Alleppey houseboat, a moving paradise, is a wonderful experience.
  • You will watch and enjoy the backwater and beautiful scenic villages while sailing.
  • All meals will be served on board.

Alleppey – Trivandrum

  • After Breakfast, check out and proceed to Trivandrum.
  • En route, visit Jatayu Earth Centre, a statue of Lord Jatayu on top of a hill.

  • Visit Kovalam Beach, famous for its shallow waters and low tidal waves.
  • Spend some leisure time at the famous Lighthouse of Kovalam.

Trivandrum Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum - the capital city of Kerala.
  • Firstly, visit the famous Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple - known for its sleeping statue of Lord Vishnu and the Six Secret vaults.
  • If time allows, you can visit Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, Trivandrum Zoo, Planetarium, Veli Tourist Village and Shangumugham beach, etc.

Day 9

Trivandrum – Kanyakumari

  • On arrival, proceed for sightseeing and visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built at the place where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation.
  • Later visit Kanyakumari Mata Mandir and Gandhi Mandapam.

Kanyakumari – Trivandrum – Departure

  • Eravikulam National Park may remain closed during the breeding season of Nilgiri Tahr; alternative sightseeing will be arranged if required.
  • Boating and Jungle Safari at Periyar National Park are subject to availability, weather conditions, and forest department permissions.
  • Houseboat operations in Alleppey are subject to weather conditions and local navigation regulations.
  • Entry tickets for attractions such as Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Jatayu Earth Centre, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, museums, temples, and other sightseeing points are not included unless specifically mentioned.
  • Visitors to Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and other religious sites must follow the prescribed dress code and local regulations.
