Day 7

Cochin - Alleppey

  • Arrive at Cochin Airport / Alleppey Railway Station, where our Tour Manager will meet and greet you.
  • Proceed to Alleppey and arrive at the hotel for check-in
  • Alleppey is famous for its serene backwaters, houseboats, and bird sanctuary.

Day 7

Alleppey - Thekkady

  • Today, proceed to experience a village cultural tour.
  • UNIQUE During the cultural tour, you will get to experience the lifestyle of the local community through activities like:
  • Shikkara Ride, Coconut leaf weaving, Selfie from a coconut tree, Toddy Tapping, Coir Making, Screw Pine weaving, Net Fishing.
  • UNIQUE After that, enjoy an authentic Keralan Thali meal, also known as Sadya,
  • Proceed to Thekkady, which is known for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spice plantations, etc.

  • Today, enjoy a boating or jungle safari in the Periyar National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and rare flora.
  • Later, visit the Spice Garden, where you get to see how various spices are grown.
  • In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali performance - Kerala’s classical dancedrama, with artists in vibrant costumes and makeup telling a captivating story.
  • The rest of the time will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 7

Thekkady – Munnar

  • Today, proceed to Munnar, a famous hill station known for tea plantations, scenic landscapes, and cool climate.
  • Spend the day at leisure and enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful hill station
  • Learn the history and process of making tea at one of the many Tea Museums in Munnar.
  • See more than 100 species of flora at the Rose Garden.
  • Post lunch, visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam.
  • The evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 7

Munnar – Cochin

  • Today, visit Eravikulam National Park to spot the Nilgiri Tahr, a rare goat endemic to this region.
  • En route, see Annamudi Peak - the Highest Peak in Kerala
  • Later, arrive at Cochin, known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, which is a vibrant port city famous for its history, culture, and scenic waterfront.
  • The evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 8

Cochin – Hometown

  • Today, proceed to visit some historical and cultural sites of Fort Kochi
  • Visit the Dutch Palace, a museum with Kerala murals and artefacts, the Jewish Synagogue, a Historic site with beautiful interiors and antiques and St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India.
  • See the Chinese Fishing Nets, a traditional technique of catching fish introduced in Kerala by the Chinese
  • Later, proceed to Cochin Airport to start our return journey back home. We leave for our home carrying some unforgettable memories of Cultural Kerala with Waari .Tour concludes.

Important Information & Tour Guidelines
  • Guests opting for Joining & Leaving arrangements are required to book their own flight/train tickets and arrange airport/railway station transfers unless otherwise specified. 
  • To avail the group airport transfer, the following conditions must be met 
  • Your arrival airport must be the same as the group's scheduled arrival airport. 
  • Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time. 
  • On the last day, your departure flight must be from the same airport and scheduled after the group's departure flight. 
  • Standard hotel check-in time is generally 2:00 PM (or as per the hotel's policy) and check-out time is 10:00 AM / 11:00 AM (or as per the hotel's policy). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may attract additional charges. 
  • If your flight arrives before the standard check-in time, we may arrange sightseeing or other activities, wherever operationally feasible, to help you make the most of your day. 
  • In case of flight rescheduling resulting in an earlier arrival or later departure, additional meals or refreshments, if required as per the revised schedule, will be arranged at the company's discretion. 
  • Extra Adult/Child with Mattress bookings will be provided with one mattress per room, as applicable. 
  • Meals are served only as mentioned in the tour itinerary. Meals during air travel, train journeys, bus travel, transit halts, or personal stopovers are not included unless specifically mentioned. 
  • Seating in the tour vehicle is allotted on a first come, first served basis at the beginning of the tour and will remain the same throughout the journey unless otherwise decided by the Tour Manager for operational reasons. 
  • Due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local circumstances, traffic, government regulations, or other unavoidable reasons, the sightseeing sequence, itinerary, or travel route may be changed or reversed. However, every effort will be made to provide all the inclusions or suitable alternatives. 
  • All our departures are planned to operate as scheduled. However, if the minimum required number of participants is not achieved, the company reserves the right to merge the departure with another date or offer suitable alternatives. Guests may also opt for a customised package, where certain group services such as the Tour Manager, group activities, games, meals, or entry tickets may vary or may not be available. 
  • Air tickets issued under promotional, special, or non-refundable fares are subject to the respective airline's fare rules and may be partially or fully non-refundable. 
  • Guests are advised to keep their passports, travel documents, valuables, cash, and personal belongings safe throughout the tour. Waari shall not be responsible for any loss due to negligence or unforeseen circumstances.
