Day 1

Bangalore - Coorg

Coorg

  • Arrive at Bangalore airport / railway station where you will be greeted.
  • Proceed to Coorg – The Scotland of India
  • En-route visit the famous Buddhist Monastery and the Golden Buddha Temple located in Bylekuppe – one of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India.
  • On arrival in Coorg, check into the hotel. Evening will be free for leisure.

Day 2

Coorg Sightseeing

  • After breakfast proceed to experience the forests of Coorg at Dubare Elephant Camp – a training camp of the forest department.
  • Later visit Abbey Waterfall between coffee plantations.
  • Post lunch visit Raja’s seat – offering a breath-taking view of towering hills and green valleys studded with paddy fields.
  • Later visit Madikeri Fort – is a historical landmark stands in the centre of the Madikeri town.
  • Evening will be free for shopping at Coorg Bazar.

Day 3

Coorg - Ooty

  • After breakfast proceed to Ooty and on arrival, check-in to the hotel.
  • Welcome to the ‘Queen of Blue Mountains’
  • Evening will be free for shopping and leisure at Charring Cross Commercial Street.

Day 4

Ooty Sightseeing

  • After breakfast set off to explore the beauty of Ooty.
  • First visit Dodabetta Point to see the marvellous views of the forests of Bandipur National Park.
  • Learn the history and process of making tea at one of many Tea Factory and Museums in Ooty.
  • Later visit Government Botanical Garden – spread over an area of 55 acres having 1000+ species of exotic and indigenous plants.
  • In the evening enjoy boating at Ooty Lake – an important tourist landmark in the earlier days of Bollywood.

Day 5

Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty

Coonoor

  • After breakfast proceed to Coonoor for a full day excursion.
  • Explore Coonoor starting from Dolphin’s Nose – a huge rock formation that resembles the nose of a dolphin, followed by a visit to Sim’s Park.
  • Later we take a photo stop at St George's Church.
  • In the evening return to Ooty for overnight stay.

Day 6

Ooty - Mysore

Mysore

  • After breakfast proceed to Mysuru and check in to your hotel.
  • Post lunch visit the most famous attraction of Mysore – The Mysore Palace built by Maharaja Wodeyar, which is still a royal residence.
  • See the wildlife at Mysore Zoo – one of the oldest and most famous zoos in India.
  • Later visit Brindavan Garden where you can watch a fascinating fountain show.
  • Evening will be free for leisure and shopping.

Day 7

Mysore - Bangalore - Departure

  • After breakfast proceed to Bangalore.
  • Enroute visit Shri Chamundeshwari Temple – a 17th century temple dedicated to goddess Durga.
  • Proceed to Bangalore airport / railway station. We leave for our home carrying some unforgettable memories of Karnataka tour with Waari.in. Tour concludes.
