Day 1

Guwahati – Kaziranga

  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and begin your scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 145 km / 3–4 hrs), one of India's most celebrated wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Upon arrival, check in to your resort and relax amidst the tranquil natural surroundings.
  • In the evening, visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park, showcasing Assam's rich collection of orchids, traditional tribal culture, folk performances, medicinal plants, and local handicrafts.

Day 2

Kaziranga Sightseeing

  • Begin the day with an exciting Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari (subject to availability), offering an opportunity to spot the famous One-Horned Rhinoceros, elephants, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
  • Spend the rest of the day exploring the peaceful surroundings or relaxing at the resort. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant Assamese cultural programme featuring traditional Bihu dance, folk music, and local performances, giving you a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Assam.

Kaziranga – Dirang

  • After breakfast, proceed towards Dirang (approx. 286 km / 7–8 hrs), a picturesque Himalayan town in Arunachal Pradesh known for its pleasant climate, monasteries, hot water springs, and beautiful valleys.
  • Enjoy a scenic drive through lush forests, winding mountain roads, and charming villages before arriving in Dirang by evening.
  • Check in to your hotel and unwind amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Day 4

Dirang – Tawang

  • Today, continue your journey to the beautiful town of Tawang (approx. 150 km / 5–6 hrs).
  • En route, cross the breathtaking Sela Pass (13,700 ft), one of the highest motorable mountain passes in India, offering spectacular Himalayan views and the serene Sela Lake.
  • Later, pay tribute at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldier Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat.
  • Arrive in Tawang by evening and check in to your hotel.

Tawang Sightseeing

  • Continue to the stunning Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), a high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, formed after a major earthquake and made famous by the Bollywood movie Koyla.
  • Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes before returning to your hotel.

Day 6

Tawang – Bomdila

  • After breakfast, drive to Bomdila (approx. 170 km / 4–5 hrs), a charming hill town known for its monasteries and panoramic Himalayan views.
  • On arrival, visit the peaceful Bomdila Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the region, and enjoy the spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Eastern Himalayas.
  • Spend the evening relaxing amidst the serene mountain atmosphere.

Day 7

Bomdila – Guwahati – Departure

  • After breakfast, begin your return journey to Guwahati (approx. 270 km / 8–9 hrs).
  • Depending on your departure schedule, you may visit the revered Kamakhya Temple for Mukh Darshan, one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas in India.
  • Later, proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and incredible wildlife of Northeast India.
