Day-by-day journey plan
Day 1

Jammu Arrival – Katra – Vaishnodevi Trek

  • Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station, our Tour Manager will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to Katra.
  • After checking in to the hotel and freshening up, prepare for the sacred pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
  • In the evening, at around 6:00 PM, begin the approximately 14 km trek to the Bhawan through the scenic Trikuta Hills. After seeking the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, begin the return trek during the night.
  • Your hotel room in Katra will remain reserved for your convenience upon your return.

 

Day 2

Rest in Katra – Local Market Visit

  • After returning to the hotel in the early morning, enjoy a well-deserved rest following the overnight pilgrimage. Spend the day at leisure to relax and rejuvenate.
  • In the evening, explore the lively Katra Market, where you can shop for religious souvenirs, dry fruits, traditional handicrafts, and local specialties while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this famous pilgrimage town.

Day 3

Katra – Srinagar – Baltal

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and board the Vande Bharat Express to Srinagar, enjoying the picturesque landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir along the way.
  • Upon arrival in Srinagar, continue your journey by road to Baltal, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Surrounded by majestic Himalayan mountains, Baltal offers breathtaking natural beauty and a peaceful atmosphere.
  • Check in to your camp and relax in preparation for the next day's pilgrimage.

Day 4

Baltal – Amarnath Cave – Baltal

  • Early in the morning, begin the sacred Amarnath Yatra by trek, pony, or doli (at your own expense).
  • The pilgrimage leads through stunning mountain landscapes to the holy Amarnath Cave, where the naturally formed ice Shivling, one of the most revered symbols of Lord Shiva, is worshipped by devotees from across the world.
  • After darshan and prayers, return to Baltal Camp by evening and rest after this spiritually fulfilling journey.

Day 5

Baltal – Srinagar

  • After breakfast, check out from the camp and proceed to Srinagar, the beautiful summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, often referred to as the "Paradise on Earth."
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the remaining day at leisure. You may relax or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace.

Day 6

Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Srinagar.
  • Visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, situated atop a hill offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake.
  • Explore the famous Mughal Gardens—Cheshma Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh—renowned for their beautifully landscaped terraces, fountains, and vibrant flower beds.
  • Later, visit the historic Pari Mahal, known for its stunning architecture and breathtaking views of Srinagar.
  • Conclude the day with a relaxing Shikara Ride on the serene Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens, traditional houseboats, and local markets on the water.

Day 7

Srinagar – Jammu – Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Railway Station to board the Vande Bharat Express to Katra.
  • Upon arrival, continue your journey by road to Jammu Railway Station for your onward journey back home.
  • Return with the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi and Lord Amarnath, carrying unforgettable memories of this spiritually enriching pilgrimage through the majestic Himalayas.

    Important Information & Tour Guidelines
    • Guests opting for Joining & Leaving arrangements are required to book their own flight/train tickets and arrange airport/railway station transfers unless otherwise specified. 
    • To avail the group airport transfer, the following conditions must be met 
    • Your arrival airport must be the same as the group's scheduled arrival airport. 
    • Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time. 
    • On the last day, your departure flight must be from the same airport and scheduled after the group's departure flight. 
    • Standard hotel check-in time is generally 2:00 PM (or as per the hotel's policy) and check-out time is 10:00 AM / 11:00 AM (or as per the hotel's policy). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may attract additional charges. 
    • If your flight arrives before the standard check-in time, we may arrange sightseeing or other activities, wherever operationally feasible, to help you make the most of your day. 
    • In case of flight rescheduling resulting in an earlier arrival or later departure, additional meals or refreshments, if required as per the revised schedule, will be arranged at the company's discretion. 
    • Extra Adult/Child with Mattress bookings will be provided with one mattress per room, as applicable. 
    • Meals are served only as mentioned in the tour itinerary. Meals during air travel, train journeys, bus travel, transit halts, or personal stopovers are not included unless specifically mentioned. 
    • Seating in the tour vehicle is allotted on a first come, first served basis at the beginning of the tour and will remain the same throughout the journey unless otherwise decided by the Tour Manager for operational reasons. 
    • Due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local circumstances, traffic, government regulations, or other unavoidable reasons, the sightseeing sequence, itinerary, or travel route may be changed or reversed. However, every effort will be made to provide all the inclusions or suitable alternatives. 
    • All our departures are planned to operate as scheduled. However, if the minimum required number of participants is not achieved, the company reserves the right to merge the departure with another date or offer suitable alternatives. Guests may also opt for a customised package, where certain group services such as the Tour Manager, group activities, games, meals, or entry tickets may vary or may not be available. 
    • Air tickets issued under promotional, special, or non-refundable fares are subject to the respective airline's fare rules and may be partially or fully non-refundable. 
    • Guests are advised to keep their passports, travel documents, valuables, cash, and personal belongings safe throughout the tour. Waari shall not be responsible for any loss due to negligence or unforeseen circumstances. 
    • Always carry Waari's emergency contact details along with your Tour Manager's contact number during the journey
