Day 1

Pimpri Chinchwad – Pune – Maheshwar

  • Your spiritual and heritage journey begins tonight as you assemble at Bhakti-Shakti Chowk, Ravet (Pimpri Chinchwad). Meet our Tour Manager, who will warmly welcome you and assist you throughout the journey. Depart at 10:00 PM by Urbania for Maheshwar.
  • An en-route pick-up will be available from Nashik Phata at 10:30 PM, after which we continue our comfortable overnight journey towards the historic town of Maheshwar.

  • Arrive at Maheshwar around noon and check in to the hotel. Situated on the sacred banks of the Narmada River, Maheshwar is renowned as the capital of the legendary Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar and is celebrated for its rich Maratha heritage and spiritual significance.
  • Visit the magnificent Ahilya Fort, followed by darshan at Ahilyeshwar Temple, Rajrajeshwar Temple, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
  • Later, spend some peaceful time at the picturesque Ahilya Ghat, one of the most beautiful riverfronts in Madhya Pradesh. You may also explore the local markets, famous for their exquisite handwoven Maheshwari Sarees.

Day 3

Maheshwar – Omkareshwar – Ujjain

  • Early in the morning, proceed to Omkareshwar, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas, beautifully located on an island in the holy Narmada River.
  • Seek blessings at the revered Omkareshwar Temple and visit the nearby Pipaleshwar Mahadev Temple. You may also enjoy an optional boat ride on the serene waters of the Narmada (at your own expense).
  • Later, continue your journey to Ujjain, one of India's seven sacred cities. Upon arrival, visit the famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, followed by the unique Kal Bhairav Temple, known for its distinctive traditions, and Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna is believed to have received his education.
  • In the evening, explore the spectacular Mahakal Lok Corridor, an architectural masterpiece beautifully depicting stories from Hindu mythology.

Day 4

Ujjain – Indore – Shirpur / Dhule

  • After breakfast, proceed towards Indore, the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh and the former seat of the Holkar dynasty.
  • Enjoy a city tour covering prominent attractions including Annapurna Temple, the grand Lal Bagh Palace, Bada Ganpati Temple, the historic Rajwada Palace, and the elegant Krishnapura Chhatris.
  • Later, visit the famous Chappan Dukan, Indore's iconic food street, where you can enjoy local delicacies and experience the city's vibrant culinary culture. After sightseeing, continue your journey to Shirpur/Dhule for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Shirpur / Dhule – Grishneshwar – Ellora – Pune

  • After breakfast, proceed to the sacred Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas and the last among them. This ancient temple, beautifully reconstructed in the 18th century by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, is an important pilgrimage destination and a protected heritage monument.
  • After seeking the divine blessings of Lord Shiva, visit the world-famous Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent rock-cut temples, monasteries, and the awe-inspiring Kailasa Temple, carved from a single rock.
  • Later, begin your return journey to Pune, carrying unforgettable memories of the sacred temples, historical monuments, and cultural heritage experienced during the Indore – Ujjain – Omkareshwar – Maheshwar – Grishneshwar – Ellora Tour. Arrive in Pune by evening, marking the end of a spiritually enriching and memorable journey with Waari.

Important Information & Tour Guidelines
  • Guests opting for Joining & Leaving arrangements are required to book their own flight/train tickets and arrange airport/railway station transfers unless otherwise specified. 
  • To avail the group airport transfer, the following conditions must be met 
  • Your arrival airport must be the same as the group's scheduled arrival airport. 
  • Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time. 
  • On the last day, your departure flight must be from the same airport and scheduled after the group's departure flight. 
  • Standard hotel check-in time is generally 2:00 PM (or as per the hotel's policy) and check-out time is 10:00 AM / 11:00 AM (or as per the hotel's policy). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and may attract additional charges. 
  • If your flight arrives before the standard check-in time, we may arrange sightseeing or other activities, wherever operationally feasible, to help you make the most of your day. 
  • In case of flight rescheduling resulting in an earlier arrival or later departure, additional meals or refreshments, if required as per the revised schedule, will be arranged at the company's discretion. 
  • Extra Adult/Child with Mattress bookings will be provided with one mattress per room, as applicable. 
  • Meals are served only as mentioned in the tour itinerary. Meals during air travel, train journeys, bus travel, transit halts, or personal stopovers are not included unless specifically mentioned. 
  • Seating in the tour vehicle is allotted on a first come, first served basis at the beginning of the tour and will remain the same throughout the journey unless otherwise decided by the Tour Manager for operational reasons. 
  • Due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local circumstances, traffic, government regulations, or other unavoidable reasons, the sightseeing sequence, itinerary, or travel route may be changed or reversed. However, every effort will be made to provide all the inclusions or suitable alternatives. 
  • All our departures are planned to operate as scheduled. However, if the minimum required number of participants is not achieved, the company reserves the right to merge the departure with another date or offer suitable alternatives. Guests may also opt for a customised package, where certain group services such as the Tour Manager, group activities, games, meals, or entry tickets may vary or may not be available. 
  • Air tickets issued under promotional, special, or non-refundable fares are subject to the respective airline's fare rules and may be partially or fully non-refundable. 
  • Guests are advised to keep their passports, travel documents, valuables, cash, and personal belongings safe throughout the tour. Waari shall not be responsible for any loss due to negligence or unforeseen circumstances.
